Southern Hunting Safaris Gold Medal Shed Hunts

If there is one thing New Zealand has no shortage of is huge red deer!  For those of you who have seen the television shows know what outrageous antlers these animals produce season after season.  The reality is that not all of these trophy animals get shot, and that means they cast their antlers every year just like our North American deer and elk.  From the middle of August to the last part of October there is an incredible opportunity to collect some of these antlers for your trophy room at a fraction of the cost of actually shooting the huge Red Stag.

Currently our Gold Medal Red Stag hunts have a price tag of approximately $8,000 to $9,000 dollars including airfare and accommodations.  This package allows you to come back with a variety of shed antlers from some of these big bruisers for a fraction of the cost.

We will have you out hiking and glassing daily for these unique trophies that are plentiful in the Game estates that we will be guiding you on.  In addition to the Large Red Stag there will also be an opportunity to collect Fallow Stag shed antlers as well.
