For the 2009 hunting season we have put together an unheard of package with this incredible location at 4-½ star luxury lodge with one of the best guides in New Zealand . Bert How has been commercially guiding for over 25 years and has guided hunters to the #1, #2 and #4 Largest SCI bull Tahr in the world.

The hunting packages we have put together is one that is a bit different by New Zealand standards, as we do not employ the use of a helicopter. This is a completely fair chase hunt utilizing private land and great four-wheel drive access to achieve the elevation needed to get to the prime game habitat.

This hunt package is also designed to be extremely flexible. The ability to upgrade your trophy animal's size is very easy as well as adding additional species.

The hunting on the South Island is very good and the opportunity to harvest
additional animals is available on a trophy fee basis. If you are successful in harvesting your combo and would like to add an additional game animal such as a Chamois this will cost an additional $3,000.00, Arapawa Ram or South Pacific Goat $700, another Red Stag $2000 or a full day of Wallaby shooting $350.00.
We had some of our Peel Forest Safaris customers, last year, take stags well over 400 SCI. We are happy to provide custom quotes based on a specific size range of animal that you are interested in.
