Discover the gigantic expanse of the Franz Josef and Fox snowfields.  Cross the main divide for breathtaking views of Mt Cook, New Zealand’s highest peak.  Highlights include: view two of New Zealand’s finest National Parks – fly amongst New Zealand’s highest mountains and Glaciers – Mt Cook and Mt Tasman – Tasman Glacier – Snow landing at the head of Franz Josef Glacier or Fox Glacier.  Flight away approximately 40 minutes.

Twin Glacier

From a mantle of pure white snow massive rivers of ice wind their way down glacier valleys – explore the glaciers, an incredible natural phenomenon.  Highlights include: fly over the two largest West Coast glaciers – snow landing at the head of Franz Josef Glacier or Fox Glacier.  Flight away approximately 30 minutes.

Heli Hike

Combine a helicopter flight to the Franz Josef Glacier with a guided walk amongst ice caves, pinnacles and seracs.  Highlights include: 10 minute flight over the Franz Josef icefall – Glacier landing and pickup – 2 hour hike amongst glacial ice formations – professional guide – Return helicopter flight to base – All equipment provided – suitable for people of moderate fitness. Trip away approximately 2.5 hours.
