Edgewater Resort is located on the shores of Lake Wanaka, the gateway to Mt Aspiring National Park.  The hotel has 45 hotel rooms which have either a Queen bed or double plus single bed option, balcony or patio, SKY TV, Telephone, Tea/coffee making facilities and modem access.  There are 59 One and two bedroom apartments, which have either King, Queen or twin single beds, Kitchenette, spacious dining/living area, laundry facility, SKY TV, telephone and modem access.  All rooms open to balconies or patios and are sited for privacy.
Hotel facilities include two tennis courts, a nine hole putting green, spa and sauna, Children’s playground, Email facilities available at reception, Mountain Bike and Kayak hire, restaurant and bar.

Mount Aspiring Hotel is located on tree-lined Mt Aspiring Road, 2km from the village centre and on the main road to picturesque Glendhu Bay and Treble Cone Ski Area. Cardrona Alpine Resort and the Waiorau Snow Farm are also nearby on the Crown Range Road.  The  34 studio rooms all have ensuite facilities and either queen size or single beds, tea/coffee making facilities, toasters, refrigerators, TV, in house video movies and clock radios.  Each room has a private balcony or patio with additional chairs. All suites come with spa baths.  The Tilikum Restaurant and Bar offers seasonal menus to fit the time of the year in warm and comfortable surroundings.

Riverrun
Halliday Road, Wanaka RD2

Set on an escarpment with sweeping 180 degree views towards the Alps, Riverrun offers a stylish and private retreat from which to explore Wanaka. The Lodge is only 5 minutes drive from Wanaka, but guests have 420 acres of riverside farmland to explore with walking tracks down to New Zealand’s largest river, the Clutha.
The architecture of the lodge is unusual in the extent of recycled timber used. Rooms are spacious and stylishly furnished with queen or super-king beds, fine linen, luxurious towels, marble ensuites, TV or TV/video and magnificent mountain views. There is a private outdoor cedar hot tub where guests can luxuriate in the evenings and enjoy a glass of local wines.
Built in 1997, Riverrun has developed a reputation for fine food and wine, friendly and obliging hosts, and the enjoyable atmosphere provided by a small number of fellow travellers. Dinner at Riverrun is highly recommended.
The hosts are enthusiastic hikers, climbers, skiers and kayakers and will be happy to advise guest on how best to enjoy the region.
