Te Pania Hotel is a modern, architecturally designed property. This six-storey hotel
has been designed to complement its remarkable location
at the edge of beautiful Hawke’s Bay. Its slender curved form echoes the
shape of the immediate Hawke’s Bay coastline as well as providing a soft
backdrop to the enclosing cliff face behind it. The hotel is located on the
waterfront on Marine Parade, which is just two minutes walk from Napier’s
famous art deco style main street. The hotel offers 109 rooms and suites
including superior hotel rooms, the option of family rooms and one or two
bedroom suites. Each room features one king or two queen beds, Sky TV,
radio, telephone, mini-bar, tea & coffee making facilities and ensuite
bathroom. Most rooms offer extensive sea views over Hawke’s Bay, and large
sliding windows allow the rooms to open up wide to the ocean air. Five

The County Hotel

One of the few
buildings to survive the 1931 Napier earthquake, the 18 room County Hotel
was given a new lease of life and refurbished as a boutique hotel in 1995.
The Edwardian style property is centrally located and just a short stroll to
the Napier waterfront and Promenade. Typical of a boutique style hotel,
there are a number of different room configurations ranging from a standard
queen or double configuration up to a two bedroom suite with private lounge
and kitchen. Rooms, all individually named after native New Zealand birds,
have air-conditioning, mini-bars, tea and coffee making facilities, Sky TV
iron and ironing board and internet connection. The hotel offers the
Chambers Restaurant and separate bar and 24 hour room service.
